We sit in school and learn about the looming dangers in the world, take climate change for example; poverty, inequality and climate change for example. All the while Britain schools, colleges and Universities emit over 3 millions tonnes of CO2 per year; helping send us into the disaster they preach we should be acting upon.

So there's nothing like a bit of naked cycling, staged rubbish dumps and huge 'don't be a dick, start recycling' made purely out of recyclables to make a difference – to buy the calender come here

At educational institutions all over Brighton and at Sussex, educators and students and educators set about making real change for good. As part of the 'Eco Uni' campaign, environmental action groups were set up, motions passed and plans put into practice for many institutions to improve their environmental status. The movement gained momentum and support with high visibility demonstrations and media attention increasing the profile of what people can do to challenge a lot of 'hot air'. Eco-Uni’s campaigning focuses on two key areas. The first is the improvement of the institutions environmental performance, concentrating especially on its contribution to climate change. The second is to use the institutions role as an educational centre to raise awareness of the issue, foster creative thinking and ideas, and ensure that those ideas lead to action.
